Traveling in the Cabin:
  • Size Restrictions : Pets that weigh up to 8 kg (17.6 lbs), including the carrier, can travel in the cabin.
  • Carrier Requirements : The pet must be placed in a suitable carrier under the seat before you. The carrier must not exceed the dimensions of 46 x 28 x 24 cm (18 x 11 x 9 in).
  • Booking a Pet in the Cabin : You must book your pet in advance, as the number of pets allowed in the cabin is limited per flight. It's advisable to reserve your pet's spot when booking your flight or as soon as possible after booking.
Traveling as Checked Baggage:
  • Pets weighing more than 8 kg (17.6 lbs) but less than 75 kg (165 lbs), including the carrier, must be transported in the hold as checked baggage.
  • Air France requires that the pet be safely secured in an IATA-approved crate that is sturdy, ventilated, and large enough for your pet to stand and turn around comfortably.
