Talk to a Real Travel Expert. Book Flights, Hotels & Vacations by Phone.

Fond Travels is a call-to-book travel agency: you call one number, a real travel expert searches flights across all major airlines, compares fares and routes, explains the trade-offs, and books the ticket for you, 24/7. You get domestic and international flights, one-way, round-trip, or multi-city, in every cabin from economy to first class. It is especially useful for complex trips, last-minute departures, groups, and travelers who would rather talk to a person than fight a booking site. No app to download, no forms to fill in.

Who this is for

Most people can book a simple round-trip online. The phone earns its keep when the trip is not simple. Our callers include business travelers who need a flexible fare and a specific arrival time, families coordinating four or five people from two cities, students heading home for the holidays on a tight budget, seniors who prefer a patient voice to a website, and anyone booking a bereavement trip who does not have the energy to compare tabs. We also help groups of ten or more, parents sending an unaccompanied minor, healthcare workers booking around shift schedules, pilgrims planning Hajj or Umrah, and travelers on multi-country itineraries where the order of cities changes the fare. If you have ever abandoned a booking site because the price changed at checkout or the connection looked wrong, you are our typical caller.

What's included when you book with us

• A search across all major airlines for your route and dates, including routings and fare combinations that consumer websites often do not show.
• A plain-English comparison of the options that matter: total travel time, connection length, aircraft and seat type, and fare rules.
• Fare rules explained before you pay, including change fees, refundability, and whether the ticket is basic economy with its restrictions.
• Seat selection, checked-bag allowance, loyalty numbers, known-traveler numbers, and special requests added to the booking at the time of purchase.
• Economy, premium economy, business class, and first class, plus mixed-cabin itineraries where they make sense.
• Help with miles and points: award seats, upgrades, and an honest view on whether cash or miles is the better choice.
• Support for special fares and situations, such as group, student, senior, bereavement, healthcare-worker, and unaccompanied-minor bookings.
• A single phone number to call afterward for schedule changes, rebooking, and questions right up to departure.

What to know before you book

A good flight booking is about more than the fare shown on a screen. Here is what our experts check on every call so there are no surprises at the airport.

• Fare types and refundability. Airlines sell several fare types on the same seat. Basic economy typically restricts changes, seat selection, and sometimes carry-on bags; standard and flexible fares cost more but allow changes or refunds. We tell you which fare you are buying and what its rules are.
• Baggage. Checked-bag allowances vary by airline, route, cabin, and fare type, and international allowances often differ from domestic. We confirm what your ticket includes so you can pack accordingly.
• Timing. For domestic travel, booking one to three months ahead usually offers the best balance of choice and value; for international, two to six months. Holiday periods fill earlier. Last-minute booking is still possible, and we check it live.
• Connections. A short connection can save time or cost you the trip. We look at minimum connection times, terminal changes, and whether your bags are checked through, especially on international itineraries.
• Cabin and seat. Economy, premium economy, business, and first class differ by airline and aircraft. Tell us what you want from the seat and we will match it, whether that is extra legroom on a five-hour flight or a lie-flat bed overnight.
• Miles and upgrades. If you hold airline miles or transferable points, we check award availability and upgrade space on your dates and tell you plainly whether using them makes sense.
• Documentation. Domestic flights require a REAL ID-compliant license or passport; international flights require a passport valid for your full trip and, for some countries, a visa or electronic travel authorization. We flag what applies, and requirements should be verified with the destination country.

Common situations we handle

Last-minute travel. A caller needs to be across the country tomorrow morning. We check every carrier and routing, including connections that still have seats when nonstops are full, explain the fare rules, and book within minutes.

Multi-city international trip. A couple wants to fly into Lisbon, travel overland to Madrid, and fly home from Barcelona. We build the open-jaw itinerary on one ticket, compare it against separate one-ways, and choose the option with the better rules and total cost.

Family from two cities. Grandparents in Phoenix and their children in Chicago want to arrive in Orlando within an hour of each other. We coordinate both departures, seat each family together, and add the kids' meal and seat requests.

Corporate group. A company is sending fourteen employees to a trade show. We hold seats together, manage name changes as the roster settles, and give the coordinator one contact for the whole booking.

Why book by phone with Fond Travels

Fond Travels is an independent US travel agency, not an airline, so we compare all major airlines and recommend what fits your trip, not a carrier's sales target. Real travel experts answer 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and explain the fine print before you pay. We are rated 4.8 out of 5 with more than 2,500 Google reviews, and the common thread in those reviews is a real person who picked up, listened, and got the booking right.
