  • Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to travel.

Pet carrier requirements

  • Size: The carrier must fit under the seat in front of you. Maximum dimensions are 9" H x 16" W x 19" D.
  • Type: The carrier must be leak-proof, well-ventilated, and comfortable for the pet. Soft-sided and hard-sided carriers are both acceptable.
  • Safety: Pets must remain inside the carrier throughout the journey, including during boarding, flight, and deplaning.

Fees for pet travel

  • Allegiant Airlines charges a $50 fee per segment per carrier for pet travel.
  • Fees are non-refundable and must be paid at the time of booking.

  • Pets are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, as space is limited.
