Best time to visit Antigua

Antigua is one of the drier islands in the Caribbean, with daytime highs in the low to mid 80s Fahrenheit all year. The dry season from December through April is peak season, with steady trade winds, low humidity and near-constant sunshine; Sailing Week in late April and early May closes it with a festive finish. May and June are warm, quiet and good value. July through November is the wetter season, with brief showers and the summer festival season in late July and early August. Hurricane season runs June through November with the highest risk from August to October, so we suggest travel protection then. Antigua stays on Atlantic Standard Time year-round, one hour ahead of Eastern Standard Time in winter and level with the East Coast in summer.
