Best time to visit Grenada

Grenada has a tropical climate with daytime highs in the mid 80s Fahrenheit all year and higher rainfall in the mountainous interior than on the coast. The dry season from January through May is the best time to visit, with sunny skies, trade winds and every resort open; the Grenada Chocolate Festival in May is a fun bonus. June through December is the wet season, with short, heavy showers and lush landscapes, and Spicemas, the island's biggest festival, fills the second week of August. Grenada lies at the southern edge of the hurricane belt, so storms are less frequent than farther north, but the season still runs June through November.
