Best time to visit Hawaii

Hawaii is warm all year, with daytime highs in the high 70s to high 80s Fahrenheit. The drier, hotter season runs roughly April through October; the wetter season runs November through March, though showers are usually brief and fall mainly on windward and mountain areas. Whale season, when humpbacks gather off Maui, runs December through April. Winter brings big surf to the North Shore of Oahu, while summer seas are calmer for snorkeling.
