How booking by phone works

1. Call and describe the trip. Dial +1 (323) 800 6001 and tell the travel expert where you are flying from, where you are going, your dates, how many people are traveling and anything that matters to you: a nonstop, a morning arrival, a window seat, a wheelchair at the gate.
2. Hear options, not a list. The expert searches live availability across major airlines and reads back the two or three itineraries that fit, with the fare class, bag allowance and change rules of each, so you can compare them properly instead of guessing from a results page.
3. Approve and pay securely. Once you choose, the expert confirms every passenger name exactly as it appears on the ID, states the full total including our service fee, and takes card payment over the phone. Nothing is charged until you say yes.
4. Receive the confirmation. Your e-ticket and itinerary arrive by email with the airline record locator, and the same number is your contact for changes before and during the trip.

Is it cheaper to book a flight over the phone?

The honest answer: the airline's fare is the airline's fare. A travel expert cannot invent a price a website does not have, and we charge a service fee that is stated on the call before you pay. What the phone changes is the search. A search box shows the itineraries that match what you typed. An expert checks nearby dates, alternate airports, different fare classes on the same flight, split tickets, open-jaw routings and consolidator inventory, then tells you which combination actually fits your trip. On a simple domestic round trip that may make no difference. On an international itinerary, a last-minute trip, a multi-city route or a business class booking, it often does. Ask for the total, compare it with what you found online, and decide.

What to have ready before you call

• Full names of every traveler exactly as printed on the passport or driver's license, plus dates of birth.
• Departure city, destination and preferred dates, with any flexibility you have: a day either side, a different airport, a longer layover.
• Passport numbers and expiry dates for international travel, and any visa you already hold.
• Special needs: wheelchair assistance, a child flying alone, a service animal, a medical device, a lap infant.
• Frequent flyer and known traveler numbers if you want them on the booking.
• A card in the name of the person paying, ready when the expert asks for it.

Can I still book online?

Yes. Our flight search handles a straightforward trip, and many customers search online first and then call to ask a question before they pay. The phone is for the trips a search box handles badly, and for anyone who simply prefers to talk to a person. Both routes reach the same reservations team and the same customer support.

After you book

Your confirmation email arrives within minutes and includes the itinerary, the ticket number and the airline record locator, the six-character code you use to check in on the airline's website or app. Keep it. To change dates, add a bag, select seats or correct a name, call the same number, +1 (323) 800 6001, at any hour. The fare rules on your ticket determine what the airline allows and what it charges, and the expert explains that before doing anything. Fees and payment

We charge a service fee for bookings made through our reservations desk. The expert states it, along with the full total, before any payment is taken, and the amounts are published on our service fees page. Payment is by credit or debit card, given verbally to the expert on a recorded line and processed through a secure payment system. We never ask for card details by chat, text message or email, and we never charge a card without your spoken approval of the itinerary and total. The ticket is issued by the airline in your name. Airline change fees and fare differences, where they apply, are separate from our fee and are explained at the time of the change.
