The easiest and quickest way is Spirit online check in:
- Online check-in begins 24 hours before your flight's scheduled departure and ends 1 hour before departure.
- During online check-in, you can purchase any additional checked bags and seat assignments.
- Purchasing bags online is often cheaper, as bags cost more at the airport.
If you purchase your bags in advance (50 lbs or less), you'll be eligible for Bag Drop Service at the airport. This means faster check-in at the airport without the need to wait in line for bag assistance. For international airlines travel, you'll need to enter your passport information before printing your boarding pass or buying any additional seats or bags.
If you cannot check-in online, you can visit the ticket counter at the airport and ask Spirit's Guest Service Agents for assistance. Be sure to arrive at the airport in time for assistance from a Spirit representative at the counter.
- For domestic flights, check in 45 minutes before departure.
- For international flights, check in 60 minutes before departure.
- No check-ins are allowed 4 hours before departure.
You can also use the self-service kiosks for a quick Spirit Airlines check in, select seats, pay for baggage, and print your boarding pass. This service is available 24/7.
