Delta Airlines' In-flight Menu Upgrade for Olympics Season 2024

Delta Airlines is set to delight passengers this summer with a refreshed in-flight menu, offering new culinary experiences. Known for its award-winning food and beverage service, Delta updates its menu seasonally so passengers can enjoy a mix of new flavors and classic favorites.

This summer's menu highlights include special meals for Delta One customers flying from Paris CDG Airport to the United States. Passengers returning from the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games can enjoy exclusive meals like roasted chicken breast, artichoke-filled pasta, and desserts by acclaimed chefs.

From July to August, Delta One customers can savor dishes by Chef Guy Martin, head chef of the three-Michelin-starred Le Grand Véfour in Paris. Chef Martin's offerings feature slow-cooked lamb shoulder with summer vegetables and more. These unique dishes give passengers a one-of-a-kind meal experience.

Kristen Manion Taylor, Delta's senior vice president of in-flight service, emphasized the importance of the inflight dining experience. She said, "Our onboard food and beverage service is an integral part of the customer journey. We know customers crave variety along with a taste of the familiar."

Delta's new summer menu is a testament to its commitment to delivering quality and variety. The airline has collaborated with renowned chefs from around the world to offer authentic dishes tailored to specific routes. Chef Jereme Leung's cuisine, for example, will be featured on flights from Seattle to Taipei and Shanghai and from Detroit to Shanghai. Passengers on these routes can expect a fusion of international and traditional Chinese flavors.

Delta has also enhanced its domestic first-class offerings. Passengers from Atlanta can enjoy southern specialties, such as Bar-B-Q's short rib sandwich. Meanwhile, Delta One passengers flying JFK to LAX or SFO can enjoy dishes like chicken scarpariello by Danny Meyer's Union Square Events.

In addition to the new meal options, Delta continues to provide a rotating selection of wines, a variety of snacks, and wellness-focused meals. This comprehensive approach ensures that every passenger, regardless of destination, can enjoy a memorable journey aboard Delta Airlines.
