Expansion of Breeze Airways: Three New Routes and One Frequency Increase

Beginning in October, the airline will implement these services.

Low-cost carrier Breeze Airways has announced several new routes as the company considers its future beyond the summer season. The airline recently celebrated its third anniversary, has successfully established an impressive network, and has achieved profitability.

Three new routes

Breeze Airways has disclosed three new continuous routes and increased flight frequency. Burlington, VT; Fort Myers, FL; Long Island-Islip, NY; Tampa, FL; and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA.

Also, an additional weekly flight between Orlando, FL, and Wilkes-Barre/Scranton will be implemented in October. The new services' schedules are as follows:

  • Burlington, VT to Fort Myers, FL (Mondays and Fridays, commencing October 4).
  • Wednesdays and Saturdays, commencing October 2, from Fort Myers, FL to Long Island-Islip, NY.

Starting October 18, the route will extend from Tampa, FL, to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA, on Mondays and Fridays.

Starting on October 8, the frequency of the service will increase from four times per week to five times per week in Orlando, FL, to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.

Breeze Airways' President, Tom Doxey, stated, "We are committed to expanding our fall and winter service into Florida, and we currently serve eight destinations within the state." Guests in Long Island, Burlington, and Scranton will now have an increased opportunity to experience Breeze's Seriously Nice™ service and fares while escaping to the Sunshine State.

Breeze has implemented the "Destinations Dupes" campaign, which also provides a 35% discount on roundtrip base fares when the code "DUPE" is used. The campaign is relevant to all of Breeze's flights, with the exce

ption of the new ones, and emphasizes domestic getaways with an international flair throughout the network.

Expansion during the summer

Although it is still sometime before these new flights are operational, Breeze has already initiated several new services in anticipation of the bustling summer travel season. Most recently, it resumed the Jacksonville to Westchester County flight for the summer season, which will operate twice a week on an Embraer E190.
