Best time to visit Budapest

Budapest has a continental climate with warm summers and cold winters. April through June and September through October are ideal, with mild sunshine, blooming parks or autumn color on the Buda hills and comfortable walking weather. July and August are hot and busy, with the huge summer music festival in August drawing crowds.
