Pet Travel Options- In-Cabin Travel: Small cats and dogs can travel in the cabin if their combined weight (pet and carrier) does not exceed 8kg (17.6lbs). The pet must remain in an airline-approved carrier that fits under the seat in front of you.
- Carriers must not exceed the dimensions of 40 cm (length) x 40 cm (width) x 22 cm (height) to fit under the seat in front of you. If you have purchased an adjacent seat, the maximum dimensions are 50 cm (length) x 43 cm (width) x 50 cm (height).
- Please note that additional seats must be purchased in advance.
- As Checked Baggage : Pets exceeding the in-cabin weight limit can be transported as checked baggage in the aircraft's climate-controlled hold.
- Via Etihad Cargo : Larger animals or pets traveling on routes that do not permit in-cabin or checked baggage travel can be transported through Etihad Cargo's dedicated pet travel service.
- Pet travel must be arranged at least 72 hours before the flight's departure.
- Necessary documents must be provided, including vaccination records and import/export permits.
