Best time to visit Cambodia

Cambodia has a tropical climate with a dry season from November to April and a rainy season from May to October. November through February is the most comfortable window, with sunny days, lower humidity and temperatures in the 80s Fahrenheit; it is also the busiest period at Angkor. March and April are dry but very hot, often above 95 degrees, so temple visits are best done early and late in the day. The rainy season brings short, heavy afternoon downpours, lush green scenery, fuller moats and far fewer visitors, and September and October are especially atmospheric at Ta Prohm. Water Festival in November and Khmer New Year in mid-April are lively but crowded times.
