Best time to visit Oaxaca
Thanks to the altitude, Oaxaca is mild year-round, with daytime highs in the 70s and 80s Fahrenheit and cool nights that call for a light jacket. The dry season from November to April is the most comfortable and the most popular. Rains fall from May into September, usually as late-afternoon showers that leave mornings clear and the hills intensely green. Getting there from the US

The airport is about 20 to 30 minutes south of the historic center by road.
