Best time to visit the Philippines

The dry season runs from November to May and is the best time for beaches and island hopping. December to February are the coolest, most comfortable months with reliable sunshine; March to May are hotter but still dry, with excellent sea conditions in Palawan. The rainy season runs from June to October, bringing afternoon downpours and the risk of typhoons, particularly from July to September; some Palawan resorts and boat tours reduce operations then. Boracay is best from November to April when the wind favors White Beach. Holy Week in March or April and the Christmas season are peak domestic travel periods, so book early for those dates.
