Best time to visit South Korea

Korea has four distinct seasons. Spring, from late March to May, is the favorite for many visitors, with cherry blossoms peaking in Seoul in early to mid-April and mild, sunny days. Autumn, from late September to early November, brings crisp air and spectacular foliage in the mountains and palace grounds. Summer, June through August, is hot and humid with a rainy monsoon period in late June and July, though Busan's beaches are lively then. Winter, December through February, is cold and dry, with skiing in the Gangwon mountains and far fewer crowds at the palaces.
